I have been inspired by the gifted artisans and crafts people that I have met across this country and around the globe.  The beautiful Native American 

silverwork from the Southwest set with traditional stones, particularly turquoise was certainly an early and powerful influence.  The timeless shapes, forms and colors of pueblo pottery spoke to me as I visited galleries in Arizona and New Mexico.  Now I am mesmerized by the beautiful stoneware dinnerware and serving ware produced in North Carolina.  Finally, my sculptural ceramic pieces and totems are architectural and reminiscent  of beautiful buildings, monuments and temples from around the world.
